
Jennifer Grey, born March 26 1960 in Los Angeles was an American actress. Her acting debut came with the film Reckless (1984), and had her breakthrough with the teenage comedy film Ferris Bueller's Day Off (1986). Her character, Frances Houseman, a romance drama film about the romance between two lovers, brought her international recognition. Other feature films she has appeared in include Red Dawn (1984), The Cotton Club (1984), Bloodhounds of Broadway (1989) Bounce (2000), Redbelt (2008), The Wind Rises (2013), In Your Eyes (2014), Duck Duck Goose (2018), and Bittersweet Symphony (2019). Grey's work on television began with Murder in Mississippi (1990), Criminal Justice (1989), and If the Shoe Fits (2019). She also starred as Kelly Carter in the comedy Red Oaks on Amazon Prime Video. Grey has voiced on both films and television as well, including her voice in the film of the year Duck Duck Goose and the animated television series Phineas and Ferb, which she developed in 2008.
