
Pichai Sundararajan or Sundar Picha (Indian-American business executive) is better known. When he moved to the United States, he attained an M.S. He obtained a master's degree in Materials Science and Engineering from Stanford University. He also earned an MBA from the Wharton School of Pennsylvania. Following a brief stint at McKinsey, Pichai moved to Google in 2004. There, he was responsible for the creation of Google Drive and was also responsible for innovation and product management. He also led the creation of Google Maps and Gmail. Pichai declared in 2010 that Google had made the codec for video VP8 open source and also introduced WebM as a brand-new video format. The Chromebook was released in 2012. Pichai, who oversaw the launch of Android in 2012, has added Android to his list of Google products.
