Caterina Scorsone is a Canadian-American actress of beauty. Caterina was famous after her character Dr. Amelia Shepherd on Grey's Anatomy. The same character was played by her in a different drama called Private Practice. Francesca Scorsone is the name of her sibling. At the time she began her career, Ms. Scorsone had been an amateur child performer in the Mr. Dressup television program. She displayed her acting talent in the role of Michelle Parker in Power Play. Missing is another successful project of her professional career, where she portrayed Jess Mastriani. In 2009, she showcased her talents as a performer by playing the role of Alice in a movie titled Alice. Following her popularity, she was cast in Grey's Anatomy. Amelia Shepherd was her character on the show. The character was a regular, however she quickly moved up to the main cast after her stellar performance.
