Taylor
Taylor Swift, the rarest pop sensation, is one who has managed to cross between the genres of country and mainstream culture, and has become a symbol of pop culture around the world. Taylor Swift has also ruled the entire globe by doing so. Swift left behind the country roots she had acquired like it's second-nature and demonstrated that she's the greatest pop-singer/songwriter her generation. Swift could make the moment personal while also capturing the mood. Swift's first hits, particularly the neo payback to Tim McGraw, showed off her skills. But her 2008 album Fearless proved that she was a songwriter who was discovering herself and was attracting a wide audience. Fearless ended up having a significant appeal not just in the U.S. where it racked seven platinum singles on the basis of Top Ten hits Love Story and the hit single You Belong with Me but throughout the world performing particularly well within Canada, the U.K. Canada and Australia. Swift's second album Speak Now, released almost two years after her first one, was a resounding success. It propelled Swift into superstardom. Through the course of three years, Swift's popularity was growing in three different albums -in the form of Red (2012), Reputation (2014) and 1989 (2014-2015) -- as she stepped into the world of pop where her talents were already established. Her music remained on high end of pop, even as she cut back on her appearance through her albums with folklore in 2020 and Evermore.
